Summer Art Camp for Teen Girls!

Faith, Art, Science, Poetry, Photography, Nature, Mindfulness, Self-Discovery, Journaling, Friendship.

Small groups of 6-8 in order to make the most meaningful connections.

Each camp date have 2 groups: ages 12,13, 14 and 15,16,17.

I’ll hire older teen camp counselors as needed (so excited about that!!)

Camp will be 9:30a-3:30pm each day/ 5 days. We will spend 3 days at local parks, creating, learning, hiking, discovering and we will spend two days at my home art studio.

Our big project will be creating a Field Journal for all of their art, studios, notes and photography will go into. These are lessons they will build on, a journal they can add to. A true keepsake.

Also at Camp:
*We’ll use art supplies they’ve never seen before! I teach new techniques and encourage your daughter to find her own style. (It doesn’t have to look like mine!!)

We will use an Instax Kodak camera to take photos.

*We’ll learn how to write a haiku and we’ll write one ourselves.

*We’ll study bible passages such as Ephesians 2:10 (our theme verse!) We’ll break it down, study the words, cross references, etc….AND then we’ll learn to Art Journal

*we will practice being still and quiet, just listening, noticing our surroundings. We will journal and write prayers.

*We’ll forage for mushrooms, Study what we find, paint mushrooms…look up info IN BOOKS that I will bring along.

My hope for this camp is that each of these girls will tap into a place in themselves they might not no exists. A place in nature, removed from the world, from the noise. This camp is an invitation for your daughter to EXPLORE her SELF: her faith, her wonder, her creativity and I’m absolutely sure this will grow her confidence.
