I am so glad you are here!
Welcome to my site! I am so excited to introduce you to my custom art pieces and share a bit of life with you through my blog. I am determined to become the woman God wants me to be and I believe that path includes glorifying Him in all that I do. December Daily Album {2013}
DD 2013 is a lot less embellished than 2012, but the memories are all still there. I just love rediscovering these moments from the past: packaging from a gift, little notes from grandparents, a trip to the salon, and a chubby little hand-print snowman. Some of these things may have been tossed or stored away…
December Daily Album {2012}
My December Daily (DD) 2012 album is definitely my favorite of all. I used products from my once-favorite scrapbook company, October Afternoon, which sadly doesn’t exist anymore. (Insert Sigh). They had the best embellishments, buttons, label stickers, alpha stickers and every line seemed to coordinate with the others. Oh, its just too sad to think…
December Daily Albums
Long before I started my art business, my creative outlet was scrapbooking. I especially love making mini-albums. When I came across the idea of a December Daily (DD) album about ten years ago, I was SO INSPIRED. The idea is to take a picture each day during the month of December and scrapbook it. Since…
Lil’ Art Block: Classes
Something new is happening in my world: teaching classes! I never planned to teach- I honestly didn’t think there would be enough interest to fill a class, never-mind more than one class. Last night, I taught my mason jar word-of-the-year class for the second time. I have now taught it to over 50 people! What?!…

The time has finally come! I am thrilled to be a part of Forager Brewery’s Local Creators Nights on Tuesday nights in…
Art Studio {Open House} Tour
Today was the first of my two-day studio open house and it was just as good, if not better than I had hoped for! How great is that?! In the past three weeks, I have transformed my studio work space into my own personal boutique. In case you couldn’t make it, I took a video tour of it before I opened so you can see Studio Amber Engelh{ART} in all it’s glory! (well, most of it’s glory- please excuse the poor video quality….the operator has no previous experience. lol)
Ever Thankful
Our long Thanksgiving break started on Wednesday with our annual trip to our local “Choose and Cut Fraser Firs.”  I’ve enjoyed this exact view for so many years- Eric leading the way through the forest and the little ducklings following close behind. We were lucky to have our first dusting of snow right before we headed out….
A Little Quality Time…
I was thrilled to have this sweetie pie join me in my studio this weekend! While the boys were at hockey, Ella and I took advantage of some mama/ daughter time. We couldn’t help but feel the spirit of Christmas around us: holiday music playing, an evergreen candle glowing and, of course, a cup of…
Studio Open House
In just a few short weeks, my home studio will be transformed into a sweet little Christmas Shoppe! I just love opening my home to my friends and customers. I’ll have shortbread, tea and a whole lot of cheer! Available for purchase, I will have all of my current fine art prints and prints on…
Creating Christmas
Wood is cut, paint colors picked and now it’s time to prep: scrub the wood, gesso and paint the paper. I really do enjoy each step…but I’m feeling pretty eager to start creating! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â …
