Summer Art Camp for Teen Girls: Ages 12-14

1p-4pm M-F
Monday-Thursday, we will create at my home studio in Rochester, MN.
Friday we will spend all day at Quarry Hill Park creating in nature, hiking and exploring.
Our big project will be creating an art portfolio that they will fill to the brim with their creations, discoveries, journaling and scripture studies throughout the week. The goal is to be inspired by devotional reading and scripture and to create on paper what comes to mind and fills their hearts.
Lessons in faith with be centered around living a gospel-centered life out in the “real” world. What does the Word say vs. what world says. We will practice scripture studies, quiet time and create in our art journals.
Main Scripture study will be the book Ephesians: Walking in Jesus’ footsteps and knowing who we are in Christ and believing that He has big plans for us!
My intent is for the girls to feel confident in their ability to manage their own well-being and mindset through art, faith, nature and mindfulness. I don’t just want to instruct it; I want to immerse them in it!
