Make your very own piece of AE {Art} with a group of friends! This package includes (4) Art Kits plus ALL of the Supplies you need to complete it!
Instead of purchasing the AE {art} Supply Kit, this package includes all of the supplies needed as a “rental.” If you are in the Rochester, MN area (and surrounding towns), I will drop off a bin at your home with everything you need to host your own Art Party! I’ll pick up the supplies and left-overs when your party is over. All you need to do is rinse out the brushes and lay flat to dry!
Includes: Each Art Block kits comes with a 6″x6″x1.5″ wood block, paint (choice of color), glitter, painted-paper die-cuts, chipboard pieces (for tail and heart), mod-podge, (2) foam brushes, piece of wax paper. Written directions are included as well as a link to watch a process video.
(4) EACH: Watercolor Brushes, Flat paint brushes, Stabilo watercolor pencils, sandpaper squares, glue sticks, rolling pins, water cups
(8) Wax paper- covered boards, (2) Hair Dryers
(1) Can of Spray varnish, Paper towel roll, package of baby wipes, roll of wax paper, plastic table covering
ALL of this for less than $32/ person!
Time: project takes approx 1.5 hours.
Ages: This kit is great for any level. Ages: adults and teens or working alongside a child works great, too!

AE {Art} Kits are coming soon! Here’s the Supply kit that you’ll need in addition to the Art Kit.
This Supply Kit includes the basic supplies that we will use in many of my future Art Kits. These supplies will last through several projects and can even be shared amongst family members of you are each working on your own Art Kit.
Additionally, my hope is that you will learn to use these products and be inspired to create on your own.
I love making these little “pom-pom” flowers! Add in a black and white patterned bowl and its just the cutest lil’ piece of art. Mixed media takes a lot of supplies, steps and time…I love each part of the process. This piece took just under 2 hours from start to finish- but you can watch in under 2 minutes! (Hint: click on full view to see it larger)
Here’s Part 1: Sketching on the block, cutting and adhering the paper bowl, gesso, outline with stabilo pencil and painting the flowers.
Part 2: Painting the background, second coat on flowers and leaves, watercolor bowl, paint sides.
Next steps, not shown in video: Spray with clear varnish, sand edges, wipe, stamp initials on front, spray final coat of varnish. (I’ll share the final piece once I take a few photos). Art Kits have been on my bucket list for over 2 years now! I LOVE the idea…but the figuring out all of the logistics has been overwhelming.
I’m still tinkering with the idea and how it will all work. So far, I’ve realized it would be best to sell a Mixed Media Supply Kit that would contain everything you need to complete several projects (Art blocks & Art journaling!)
There will be separate Project Kits that would contain everything you’d need for that specific project. For example, an art block kit would contain the paint, die cuts, mod podge, wood block, etc.
Additionally, I’d link up a shop through Amazon for any extra supply suggestions (like spray varnish, masking tape, etc). I’m also thinking about projects for kids and adults. Finally, I’d have links to process videos for each project (can somebody do that part for me?! 😬😉😆) …see lots of details! But seeing the supply kit come together is encouraging. Stay tuned! I’m so excited to see this dream become a reality!
